The organisation:

IFMSA-Morocco is a non-profit apolitical association, created in April 2012 and domiciled at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of Rabat. IFMSA-Morocco counts in its ranks, more than 1.000 medical students from the five corners of the Kingdom and contributes to the improvement of knowledge and capacities through trainings, conferences but also the organization of the projects promoting the public health, the reproductive health and thus contributing to the training of physicians of tomorrow. The Moroccan Federation is part of the IFMSA Global Network, the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations, representing medical student associations in more than 127 member countries. IFMSA defines itself as a non-governmental, apolitical organization that defends and encourages the involvement of future physicians in the development of national and international health policies and their contribution to the improvement of the latter's indicators across the world. various projects and programs within the following four main areas: Public health, Sexual and reproductive health, Medical education, Humain rights and peace. Furthermore,IFMSA organizes the largest student-managed exchange program in the world with nearly 13,000 students going on exchange for a clinical or research internship each year. For more than 60 years, IFMSA has been recognized as a non-governmental organization within the United Nations system and the World Health Organization (WHO) and has received official recognition from the World Medical Association (WMA).
